Tanzania: Serengeti & Home
On this leg of the trip, we visited Olduvai Gorge, which is one of the most important prehistoric sites in the world & is commonly referred to as "The Cradle of Mankind." We drove on to the Serengeti. It was just as vast, beautiful and full of life, just like I saw on TV. We were there for the gathering of the Great Migration, where millions of wildebeest & zebras make their way north to the Masai Mara. Everywhere you looked, there was an animal waiting to start its journey. I hope to see what the Serengeti looks like when the millions are already gathered & ready to go!
