Today was one of the longest drives on our trip: Lake Nakuru to Amboseli, with a pit-stop to view the Great Rift Valley. The first animal we saw in Amboseli was the very elusive Serval cat & then herds & herds of elephants. We saw our first lion pride here too, which Christian describes as "breathtaking". They were stalking a lone wildebeest which only added to the adrenaline rush (ended up being unsuccessful.) My wish was to see Mt. Kilimanjaro & that wish was granted shortly before we had to head back to camp... complete w/elephants in the foreground! This is a beautiful park, one of my favorites of the trip!
