Spent our 2nd Anniversary in Vegas because we just LOVE that place! Ate at Sushi Roku in Cesars, did some people watching on the strip & took a helicopter ride over the strip (my gift to Christian.) We spent our last night playin' blackjack at the Barbary Coast. We met this mother & son from New York. It was her 60-something birthday & she was hammered! She had quite the life story to tell: she used to be a dancer. She hung out at Studio 54, dated Mick Jagger in high school & Benny Hill is her cousin (who was disowned because he was gay!)

I finally got a picture of the famous Vegas sign. Drove to San Diego & stopped at the World's Largest Thermometer to get some refreshments. Didn't realize we were that close to Death Valley. A scenic & hot ride.
